Who Facilitates the Groups

LifeBack facilitators are trained in grief, trauma, and senior support.
One of our primary facilitators, Jeff Lander, brings more than 30 years as a firefighter, specialized credentialing through Light University as a Military and First Responder Mental Health Coach, and focused training in older adult and elderly support Jeff’s trauma-informed, faith-based approach is deeply rooted in compassion, steadiness, and respect — qualities that create emotional safety for residents processing loss and transition.

Our Heart Behind the Work
Aging is a sacred season, and loss is a universal human experience. We believe no one should navigate grief alone — especially in their later years. Our calling is to create a safe place for residents to grieve honestly, connect meaningfully, and move forward with dignity, belonging, and hope.
